    Attention Bastrop Republican Voters … Please take note of these important election dates coming up:

    • May 4th, “Political Subdivisions” consisting of Bastrop Central Appraisal District, Mayoral and City Council seats (in Bastrop, Elgin and Smithville), and critical School Board Trustee seats being sought for all Bastrop County school districts.
    • May 28th, “Republican Primary Runoff” for County Commissioner Precinct 1, and Justice of the Peace Precinct 2.

    This months speaker will be Christie Slape, Chapter Chair of Moms for Liberty Williamson County.

    Christie Slape is the Chapter Chair of Moms for Liberty Williamson County, a non-partisan, 501c4 organization that unifies, educates and empowers parents to defend their parental rights at all levels of government. She is a lover of God and country, a wife of 28 years, Mom to 4 amazing kids, and a proud, life-long Texan. She is the co-Chair of the Moms for Liberty Texas Legislative Committee, a Patriot Academy Constitution Coach, a Republican Party Precinct Chair, and has worked with other like-minded parents to ensure that our National Motto “In God We Trust” is displayed in Round Rock ISD schools. She is a Mama Bear who believes that life is too short to sit on the sidelines. She is inspired by the words of John Adams, “Duty is ours, results are God’s.“
