2026 Primary Election Information

AnchorIt’s been reported that 62% of registered voters DON’T NOT VOTE in a Primary Election.  Let’s work to change that to 62% registered voters WHO DO VOTE.   In order for us to assist you in exercising your right to vote, we’re including announcements and other information on candidates, forums, meetings, fundraisers and Meet and Greets where you can go, listen, ask questions and learn about Candidates running for Local, County, State and Federal level offices.

But you can’t vote if you’re not registered.  If you’ve recently move to or within Bastrop County, please visit the Bastrop County Election office in the County Courthouse on Pecan Street in Bastrop, or the Bastrop County Republican Office, and complete your Voter Registration card, even if it only to update your existing voter information.   If you’ll be 18 on or before Election Day March 3rd, you can also register.   But do it today!
