Executive Committee Passes Aquifer Resolution

On November 15, 2025, the Executive Committee of the Bastrop County Republican Party passed a resolution supporting the Bastrop County Judge and County Commissioners,  whom voted unanimously to oppose the ASR water project.  This is a crucial action in protecting the citizens and aquifers supplying Bastrop County residents water supply.  Click HERE  to read the full content of that resolution.

Bastrop County and Lee County Republican Party are hosting Sid Miller at our combined November Informational Meeting.  

The Future of Texas Agriculture — Join us for an evening with Commissioner Sid Miller as he discusses the challenges and future of rural Texas. 🚜   An eighth-generation Texas farmer and rancher from Stephenville Texas, Sid Miller is the 12th Texas Agriculture Commissioner serving since 2015, and a world-champion rodeo rider. 

Please note the November Monthly Informational Meeting, has been moved to Thursday November 20th., and relocated to the First National Bank’s 2nd Floor Community Meeting Space.  The one is shaping up to be an event you’ll not want to miss.
