The Bastrop County Republican Party would like you to join us on our floats on Saturday December 13th for the Bastrop Lost Pines Christmas Lighted Parade.  If you’re unable to help with decorating the floats, we still want you to be on the float before the parades start to show Bastrop our Bastrop Strong commitment to Conservative values

Bastrop Lost Pines Christmas Lighted Parade:

  • Saturday, December 13th
  • Float decoration begins at 3:00 pm at the float lineup route on Cedar St.
  • We will reply to all by email once we have the exact location of where we are lined up for the parade.

Christmas Parades in Smithville and Bastrop !!

The Bastrop County Republican Party invites you to join us on our floats on Saturday December 6th for the Smithville 34th Annual Festival of Lights Lighted Holiday Parade, and Saturday December 13th for the Bastrop Lost Pines Christmas Lighted Parade.  Parade specific information can be found below. If you’re able to help decorate the floats, or available to ride with us, please arrive before the parades start to show Smithville and Bastrop our Bastrop Strong commitment to Conservative values.

Smithville 34th Annual Festival of Lights Lighted Holiday Parade:

Executive Committee Passes Aquifer Resolution

On November 15, 2025, the Executive Committee of the Bastrop County Republican Party passed a resolution supporting the Bastrop County Judge and County Commissioners,  whom voted unanimously to oppose the ASR water project.  This is a crucial action in protecting the citizens and aquifers supplying Bastrop County residents water supply.  Click HERE  to read the full content of that resolution.

*Deck your vehicle out with Trump flags and signs!

* Line up at Mayfest Park, 3 pm – 25 American Legion       DR., Bastrop

*Maps of the parade route will be handed out when you arrive

*The After Parade Social with Jessica Colon will begin immediately following the parade (4:30 – 6:00) at the BCRP office.

Multi-County Trump Train

Get ready for another Texas-Sized Trump Train & Cruz Convoy


Join us for a Texas-Sized Trump train & Cruz Convoy on Saturday, October 26th! The train and convoy will depart at 10:30 am from Buccees in Bastrop, with the final destination being Apache Pass in Rockdale. Here, we will host a grand TRUMP RALLY, a celebration of our shared values and a call to action for the upcoming elections, beginning at 4 pm (more details and speaker lineup coming soon).
