Bastrop Lighted Christmas Parade

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeIn”]The Bastrop County Republican Party had a festive evening participating in the Bastrop Lighted Christmas Parade, Saturday December 10th 2022. Joining the fun with a trailer full of Conservative supporters were Sheriff Maurice Cook, County Judge Elect Gregory Klaus, Mel Hamner, Wayne Wood, Krista Bartsch, County Chair Curtis Courtney and numerous BCRP Precinct Chairs and family. Spectators and parade watchers alike, admired the brightly lit and decorated float pulled by Carl Rees’ bright yellow 1927 Ford Model T “Phaeton” Roadster.

October Informational Meeting

The Bastrop County Republican Party held its October Informational Meeting (the 4th Monday of every month) in the larger space of the at First National Banks Community Meeting Room. The featured speaker, Republican Party of Texas (RPT) Vice-Chair Dr. Dana Myers, spoke on a variety of topics, from Border Security, Election Integrity; the importance of electing Republican candidates to County, State and Federal level offices, and the role Texas has in maintaining National security. Dr. Myers and her husband arrived early and stayed after to visit with many attendees.

2022 General Election Voter Guide

The Bastrop County Republican Party (BCRP) and Lost Pines Republican Women (LPRW) joined together to generate and mail a 16 page Voter GuideThis 2022 General Election issue is loaded with Candidate information, and will begin arriving in your mailbox early next week.  You’ll also find Early Voting and Election Day polling places, dates and hours, a current list of your BCRP Executive Committee, Officers and Precinct Chairs, as well as information and an application for LPRW membership.

Remember cellphones and other digital devices are not permitted inside the polling place, but you can take the red boxed tear off section of candidates on the last page of the Voter Guide as your helpful notes.
