Our Mission
Our goal is to maximize Republican voter turnout across Bastrop County by creating consistent voter contact from campaign launch through Election Day. The campaign will combine direct voter outreach, community events, and full poll-location coverage with a volunteer team of 50–75 people.
Block Walking
Neighborhood-based voter contact starting September 12 with regular weekend walks and an additional push before early voting.

Centralized calling from GOTV Bastrop headquarters beginning October 19, with an expanded final push on November 2.

Volunteers assigned to early voting and Election Day polling locations so Republican voters see an organized presence throughout voting.

Sunday volunteer/leadership coordination meeting, 7:30–8:30 p.m., to review progress and upcoming needs. Contact Jen Bezner to sign up.
Saturday block walks, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Sunday block walks, 5:00–7:00 p.m., as scheduled.
Begin coordinated GOTV messaging and social media outreach; maintain planned content through mid-October.
Deadline for voter registration. Make sure everyone in your household is registered!

4:00–7:00 p.m. at Smithville VFW, 557 NW Loop 230.
1:00–3:00 p.m. at Elgin VFW, 118 Old Sayers Rd.

Block walking Monday–Friday, 5:00–7:00 p.m., to build momentum immediately before early voting.
Early Voting & Election Day
Staff early-voting locations in scheduled shifts, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Phone bank from GOTV headquarters, 5:00–7:00 p.m.
Maintain weekend poll coverage in scheduled shifts. Saturday 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., Sunday 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Continue full poll coverage and daily phone banking. Polls open 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Phone bank each night at Bastrop Headquarters 5:00–7:00 p.m.
Extended phone bank at GOTV headquarters, 2:00–8:00 p.m.
Cover all 15 polling locations in four shifts: 7–10 a.m., 10 a.m.–1 p.m., 1–4 p.m., and 4–7 p.m.
